Viking Shield
Dueling Shield: Designed for use in skirmishes and 1-on-1 fights, this lightweight shield measures 18” in diameter, and is made of 1/4” birch plywood slats, with a pine handle, 12 gauge shield boss, and 9oz rawhide edging, all fastened together with peened steel bolts.
War Shield: Designed for use in interlocking walls, this hearty shield measures 36” in diameter, and is made of 1/4” birch plywood slats, with a pine handle, 12 gauge shield boss, and 9oz rawhide edging, all fastened together with peened steel bolts.
The shield comes unpainted, but can be customized with your desired artwork for an additional fee.
While my shields are built to the highest standard, they are not invulnerable, and use in live-steel combat will result in damage to the shield. If one of my shields becomes damaged beyond use, you may return the handle, boss, hardware, and rawhide for a discount off of a replacement.
